Prom and Graduation StipendS
The Northwest Alcohol Conference Youth Track is offering up to six $500 stipends to support Safe and Sober Prom activities and alcohol- and drug-free graduation parties in 2027. The application process is simple! All you have to do is fill out the application form and email it to our Youth Track Coordinator, Billie-Jo Nickens at nowacyouth@yahoo.com.
GUIDELINES TO APPLY:
- Funds MUST support a safe and sober prom or alcohol and drug-free graduation party held before June 30, 2027.
- Only one stipend per school will be awarded.
- Coalitions and/or booster clubs must work with their local schools to apply for the funds.
- Promotion of the event must include messaging highlighting that the event is drug and alcohol-free. Promotion should also include at least one educational message which could be a local, state, or national statistic, prevention tagline, etc.
- Applications must be emailed to the Youth Track Coordinator by May 15, 2027, and funds must be expended by July 30, 2027.
- Successful applicants must submit a program report to the Youth Track Coordinator via email no later than August 15, 2027.
- A limited number of stipends are available and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis in the order of completed applications.
- Stipends are REIMBURSABLE funds. Checks will be issued within 30 days of receipt of the program report.
