Taylor Amerman

Corporate Responsibility Manager

Taylor is currently a Corporate Responsibility Manager at Brown-Forman, a 148 year old beverage alcohol company based in Louisville, Kentucky, best known for its most iconic brand Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. She manages Brown-Forman’s alcohol responsibility programs to eliminate drunk driving, prevent underage drinking, promote moderation, and respect the choice not to drink.

Prior to Brown-Forman, Taylor worked in Global Sponsorships and Sustainability at UPS in Atlanta, GA where she led the implementation of planting 1,000,000 trees around the globe.  She has also worked in Community Relations for the University of Kentucky and the YMCA of Central Kentucky.

Taylor has a MSc in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Nottingham in England where she received a full scholarship to attend.  She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a BSc in Accounting with honors. During her time at the University of Kentucky, she received the SECAC Global Leadership Scholarship to attend Queens University in Belfast, Ireland.

Taylor currently serves on the Board of Directors for Volunteers of America Mid-States and the Louisville Metro Parks Advisory Commission. She has been a Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters for the last 8 years. This past year, Taylor was selected as the 2016 Young Professional of the Year from the Young Professionals Association of Louisville.  She is also a 2016 graduate of the Leadership Louisville Ignite Louisville program and winner of the YUM! Ignite Louisville Challenge for her work with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana. While she was living in England, her involvement in the community was recognized when she was selected to carry the Olympic Torch for the 2012 London Olympics!
