Lindsey DeBoer serves as the State Vaping Coordinator for Project Filter, Idaho’s Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program within the Department of Health and Welfare. Lindsey has worked in this role since July 2020, focusing on decreasing the prevalence of youth vaping and promoting cessation through education, community outreach, and anti-tobacco marketing. Lindsey has developed an Idaho Tobacco- and Vape-Free Schools Toolkit that will soon be made available for schools and community partners. This toolkit will highlight available resources to promote tobacco-and vape-free schools, including model policies, alternatives to suspension, local cessation resources, and educational materials.
Lindsey DeBoer is a Certified Health Education Specialist and received her Masters in Public Health degree from the University of Arizona’s Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health.
