Chris is an impaired driving/traffic safety professional and lawyer with over 30 years experience. He joined as Senior Director of Traffic Safety and Government Relations in 2020. He spent the last 17 years as Director of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Virginia. Chris began his career as a Congressional Aide with US Senator Alan Cranston. He has also worked as the Director of the Virginia Federation of Communities for Drug-Free Youth, the Director of Offender Aid and Restoration, the Public Safety Planner for the City of Richmond, VA, and an Administrator with Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services. He has devoted his career to serving others and working to prevent impaired driving. Chris earned his JD from Howard University School of Law and his BA in Political Science and Speech Communications from the University of Richmond.
