Party Patrols and More Strategies . . .
This session will show attendees how a party patrol associated with prevention can impact loud, disorderly and underage drinking parties. The model developed by the Wayne PD consists of issuing Party Guideline sheets before parties develop, monitoring parties for illegal activity outside, responding to loud party complaints, the investigation at the party, the dispersal of the party, and the follow up letters to landlords. Also will be the working relationship between Wayne Police Department and Nebraska’s Project Extra Mile along with the use of building code enforcement and the building inspector when dealing with problem houses.
