Sergeant Robert Ullrich Biography
Sgt. Robert Ullrich is a 15 year veteran of the Lewiston Maine Police Department. Sergeant Ullrich has held numerous assignments within the Lewiston Police Department to include: Mountain Bike Team Officer, School Resource Officer at Lewiston High School, Selective Enforcement Team, Field Training Officer, Alcohol Investigator and Corporal.
In 2004 Sergeant Ullrich worked with a local coalition (Healthy Androscoggin) along with officers from 3 other area law enforcement agencies to address underage drinking issues in Androscoggin County. As a result of these discussions four area law enforcement agencies collaborated to create the Androscoggin County Alcohol Enforcement Team.
In 2009 Sergeant Ullrich was recognized as the 2009 OJJDP National Officer of the Year for his efforts in combating underage drinking in Androscoggin County. Sgt. Ullrich was presented this award at the 2009 National leadership Conference on Underage Drinking in Dallas, Texas.
