Chris Thornton BiographyDeputy Christopher Thornton has over 13 years of experience as a full time law enforcement officer, exclusively in the patrol division. Thornton is a certified instructor at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy, specializing in drug recognition, OUI/SFST instruction and intoxilyzer instruction. Thornton is also the Underage Drinking Task Force coordinator for the county of Hancock, where he coordinates all facets of enforcement efforts, enforcement details and post detail review. I also secure funding to sustain the task force and maintain control of the task force budget.He received his Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maine, Presque Isle in 1994.
