Idaho along with manyother states have been targeted in 2012 by powerful pro-drug lobbying groups in Washington DC and New York, and many other states are already suffering from the impact of drug legalization. As a general session or workshop, the latest information regarding drug legalization will be provided, as follows:
History of drug legalization in America, identification of national and state organizations that are lobbying for legalization, including funding sources, history of media campaigns, and the amount of money invested in this campaigns. Also discussed will be the experience of other states with legalization, various strategies, countering drug legalization efforts through effective drug education campaigns and stakeholder training strategies.
For states already suffering from the effects of drug , or facing the prospect of drug legalization, different strategies will be discussed on how to address these issues.
