Special Agent Huff Biography
Special Agent Huff has been with the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control for 20 years, and has served with the Norfolk FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force since 2003. During his law enforcement career, SA Huff has conducted numerous investigations dealing with the illegal use, sale, and distribution of alcohol and controlled substances, and served on a DEA OCDETF task force from 1997 to 1999 investigating the distribution of methamphetamines by outlaw bikers in Portsmouth, Virginia area bars and restaurants. SA Huff is a certified Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services Instructor and Gang Specialist, and has provided training to countless numbers of law enforcement officers on false i.d.'s; club drugs and raves; and violent street gangs. In recent years, SA Huff has been focused on convenience store criminal enterprises to include the purchase and fencing of stolen merchandise, counterfeit goods, tobacco smuggling, immigration violations, and other criminal acts by owners/operators of East coast convenience stores, and has prepared cases for successful prosecutions in both state and federal court. SA Huff is also a veteran of eight years service with the United States Marine Corps.
