Using Technology to help monitor compliance, training, and costs associated with alcohol establishments.
This class will discuss how new technology has helped getting information in the hands of the law enforcement while out in the field to gain compliance. That same information can also be used in the acquiring grants, funding or the passing of new ordinances.
Learning Objectives:

Participants will explore the use of inputting data to access alcohol establishment information in the field that has not always been accessible to officers.
•
Participants will identify how technology can increase the monitoring of daily compliance in training, inspections, violations and department costs in reacting to alcohol problems.
•
Participants will get to see firsthand, how new technology can be used to help with ordinances, city conditions, and applying for funding to improve the quality of life in their cities.
